Sam Sparro – I Wish I Never Met You

This is the second single from the singers up coming album titled return to paradise. The singer songwriter has stayed out of the limelight since his first single which featured the very successful Black & Gold single and  perhaps may have lost his spark. His first single from this album didn’t really create a buzz and failed to gain any significant success around the world, and perhaps this song will suffer the same fate because it lacks that excitement which make a good pop single, in fact I would go as far as calling it boring.

the single itself is about meeting that one person that you think is perfect and because they are that amazing its  hard to get over them and in the end you wish that you just never met them in the first place. The lyrics have violent themes to it “I’ll squeeze you just like a black head” but maybe thats not what the singer intended perhaps he was just trying to paint this image of trying to get rid of something which is extremely annoying even though it is a part of you. Kudos on the lyrics and content but the song lacks excitement.
